Doreo Partners signed MOU with UNDP
Doreo Partners signed a land-mark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Pampaida Millennium Village. The goal is to help the Farmer Associations and Cooperative Unions in Northern Nigeria utilize improved and more efficient processes during the planting and harvesting seasons. This partnership brings together a strong group of partners – first, the hardworking Nigerian farmer that has a desire to improve his livelihood and income through hard-work and investing in improved inputs and agricultural practices. Secondly, The Millenium Village Project, one of the most successful development projects in Nigeria, which has brought a group of passionate individuals with the depth of knowledge to drive real rural development.
To provide some background, Pampaida Millenium Village in Kaduna State was launched on May 23rd 2006 by Professor Jeffrey Sachs and His Excellency the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Mr. Patrick Yakowa.
