Julian Peach, Board Director

Julian has been a Director at Babban Gona since 2014, and a senior private sector rural development and agricultural finance expert with over twenty-five years of technical and management experience working globally to help poor rural people increase their wealth through improved market systems. He started as an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellow in the Fiji Development Bank and later joined the UK Department for International Development (DfID). He left DfID in 2008 to return to the front line of change management in Nigeria, leading the successful PROPCOM, DfID’s £30 million agricultural markets initiative. He holds an MSc. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Oxford, a BSc. in Management Science and Technology Studies with Psychology from the University of Stirling, and a CDipAF, ACCA.
